Austin is an Associate of Chartered Accountants Ireland. After graduating from University of Limerick with a BBS (Hons), Austin began his accounting career with DHKN Chartered Accountants where he progressed to Audit Manager. Austin then joined Celestica Ireland (a multi-national manufacturing company with 40,000 employees worldwide) as Financial Accountant before deciding to set up his own practice, Sammon & Associates in January 2008.
Austin is on the Board of Directors of St. Columbas Credit Union in Mervue, Galway which holds assets in excess of €70m and is a member of the Executive Committee of Castlegar Hurling Club.
Austin's core expertise is in Audit Services and in advisory to privately owned corporate entities.
